Hi. I’m Candice.

I am a professionally licensed stylist since 2011.  As I found a passion for the many facets of hairstyling and haircare, began to specialize in vintage hairstyles, such as page boys, Hollywood waves, pin curls, and mid-century updos. I enjoy combining classic and modern techniques in my work with all types of hair, including wigs.

I am a published stylist for pinup models, featured in Retro Lovelies, Babalou’s Beauties, and many other pinup magazines. I can also be found styling hair for special events. Vintage inspired weddings are a love of mine, from the bride to the bridal party! You will also find me at various vintage car shows in and around the Atlanta metro area designing personalized hairstyles for pinup contestants and attendees looking to get festive.

My love of wigs has blossomed. I began as a budding little punk submerged in the queer and hardcore underground of Flagstaff, AZ, working at Buffalo Exchange to pay for my fashion habit and donned wigs day and night purchased at Ricky’s from my first trip to NYC. In 1999, I moved to New York City. As I was a heavy rock ‘n’ roller in the post Y2K NYC rock circuit, a student at Hunter College getting a BA in Women’s Studies with a 4.0 cum laude, I was sharpening my vintage claws working at the Family Jewels Vintage in Chelsea, a production staple for 30 years, renting to high end magazines, theatre, and film/television. Post college, I moved down to Atlanta, Georgia. It was in Atlanta where I went back to school for hair and developed my creative passion. I have an amazing husband, have two kids, and I work by day for the non-profit Latin American Association. I love drag queens, burlesque, rock ‘n’ roll, protests, empowering others- especially women, tasty food, dancing, Halloween, reading, gardening, smashing the patriarchy, and I am a gemini….
